Our CCD catechists are committed to assisting parents in the Catholic education of children.
St. Peter Parish Religious Education, also known as CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine), offers faith formation for students as well as for their parents or adult family members.

This year, we're doing something new!

Classes for 1st-12th grades this fall semester 2026 will take place after a special 4:00 p.m. SUNDAY Mass on September 13, October 4, November 1, and November 29, 2026. That's a big change from previous years. Parents or guardians will attend the 4:00 p.m. Mass with their children, and then the 1st-8th grade sessions will follow from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. During that time, there will be an adult faith formation session offered by Fr. David as well for parents and guardians.

In addition, students preparing for their first confession and first Holy Communion (2nd grade) will have two additional meetings this semester to make sure they are well prepared. These will take place on a Saturday morning, with exact dates and times soon to be determined. Confirmation class for 11th grade has its own schedule but is also invited to attend our four CCD evenings this fall.

The schedule for the spring semester will be similar, with dates still to be determined... and the spring program will be even more exciting than this semester, so stay tuned for more!

Tuition Rates:
One student $25.00
Two or more students $50.00 total fee
(If you are in Confirmation class, that program has a separate fee.)
Please bring exact cash or a check (made out to St. Peter Church) to the parish office (rectory) at 1550 Hwy. 44, Reserve, LA, or to your first day of class.

First-time students must present a birth and baptismal certificate, ideally at the church office before September 13 so that copies can be made and originals returned. To obtain an updated copy of your child's baptismal certificate, if they were not baptized at St. Peter or St. Hubert, contact the church where they were baptized and ask them to mail you a copy.
